Evinrude used the same engine block across multiple horsepower ratings. The only difference is the programming of the EMM. We reflash it to the higher HP version your hardware already supports.

How this works
Same block, different label
Evinrude built their E-TEC engines around a small number of shared engine blocks. A 75 HP and a 90 HP can share the exact same hardware. The factory simply programmed the EMM differently before it left the production line.
That means if you have a 75 HP engine on a block that was also used for the 90 HP variant, the hardware is already there. The EMM is the only thing limiting it. We verify your part number is on a shared block and reflash it to the higher HP version.
The result is the rated output of the higher model, using your existing engine, your existing wiring, your existing installation. No new parts, no engine work.
